What I really like about this new system is that I'll be able to track changes to the moderation levels of posts over time -- . . . . That will give me the chance to instantly know without manually looking, whether posts that had not been downmodded when I first reviewed them, become downmodded at a later date. In my previous system, once I had examined a post, I did not return to it. This left a hole which modbombers could exploit -- now filled.

I cannot tell you how much safer this makes me feel, just knowing Hemocyanin is on the Wall, part of the Black Watch, keeping us all a little bit less likely to be mod-bombed. Of course, I never was mod-bombed before, so I don't know what it would be like, but it must be a terrible thing, given all the work our hero hemo had heaped on the horriffic heresy of hogging heterodox humanity hunted like hounds honely for their opinions.

It is sort of like the loaded shotgun I keep under my couch, just in case there is a "home invasion" or terrorist attack at my house. Better safe than sorry, I say! Did kill a dog accidently when one of the kids jumped a little to hard just in the right spot, but, like I say, I feel safer.
