Work to get it on the ballot locally. See "November election", below. The reason alcohol prohibition fell apart was that local gov'ts and local cops refused to be proxies for the Feds. Kansas City became a Mecca for Jazz as a result.

I've considered a political approach. Some folks where I live are ready to start a new Libertarian Party affiliate here. They got the paperwork and regular meetings at least.
My predictions for November: Alaska, yes; Florida, yes (granted, it's a medical initiative only); Oregon, no; DC, who the hell knows.
I'm afraid I have a catch-22 situation. I won't be able to persuade anybody that I'm not on a conqueror's misson from Transsexual, Transylvania to turn everybody's children into transgendered homosexuals without the benefits of weed. As much as I'd like to contribute to the budding Libertarian Party affiliate here and put forth a ballot proposal and gain the signatures necessary, I doubt it'll be possible for a short fag like me who's too busy suffering from depression, anxiety attacks, and alcohol addiction. Especially the alcohol problem.
I would love to contribute locally as GP suggested. Where do I buy? Who do I call? The result set contains no rows.
I have no references. No serious contacts. I wanted to contribute to open source projects, especially in the realm of any problems I find while pursuing E19. My mental health and general health is just deteriorating too quickly. I'm hoping if I'm successful in this mission, I will be able to contribute to the Libertarian Party and open source.

I'm not that impressive in the meatspace realm. Working behind the scenes (text-based|graphical|video production|managing the mailing list|etc) may be where you wield your power most effectively. Getting organized and getting all the tasks done is what counts.

There is likely another issue here, one you are not sharing or one you don't know, that really needs resolution. I can understand why you might not want to share with the internet but you should look for it and gain resolution there first.

Well, I've tried fasting, vitamins, SSRIs, St. John's wort, colloidal silver, reishi mushroom, and I'm sure other things I'm forgetting. Currently I'm sustaining myself on an unholy combination of alcohol, nicotine, and sleeping pills.
I hope the amputation to go quickly, perhaps with some tin snips. Yes, it will be painful, but I can't imagine it'll be more painful than the pain circumcision left me with. Am I trolling? Actually, I hate medical cannabis laws. I've thought about getting AIDS already so that I might qualify for medical cannabis, as mild PTSD, anxiety attacks, depression, and emotional problems that cannabis would obviously at least help with don't qualify. Getting AIDS might be a way, but it takes iirc 7 years for HIV to turn into AIDS, and even then, despite being a sweet transvestite from Transsexual, Transylvania, I really have no clue where I might get this disease that I'm supposed to have because of my sexual orientation and gender situation.
I wish my brain would just produce serotonin at normal levels. But hell! How do I know that's the problem?! There are no blood tests for it. At best, this serotonin things strikes me as superstition. I wish my brain would magically decide to be male and happy overnight. I think it would have happened by now if that were possible.

Why was I threatened with FBI prosecution for founding a computer club? Why did the sexists at my school need a computer club to be founded by a girl? (I don't think they actually did involve the FBI, but just wanted to talk big.) Why didn't they listen when I said I wanted to be a girl?
Why am I included in the blame for sexual harassment and date rape here and on the green site? How the HELL can I control the actions of others?
I am going soon. It's up to the gods whether I survive, I guess. I am not going to be forced to have painful erection after painful erection in a prison cell. Sure, maybe Chelsea gets her free government sex change, but I'm nobody. I would rather die.

1) Add two extra waypoints to your route 1 days drive either side of your pickup point - the more plausible the pair hold together, the better. That makes your pickup easy to pass off as over-night rest stop.
