Milley said "Trump is nuts", no wait, I'm sorry, that's a misquote, what he really said was, "... at this point, we think the procedures were correctly followed, and it was a righteous strike." (from "over the horizon")

And the press! There's speculation the story was delayed/ignored for some time...

    You know, Osama bin Laden was never convicted in a court of law as being responsible for the 9-11 attacks.

    Ok, walk us through that process. How do you convict someone whom you can't legally arrest? War fundamentally is not a law enforcement activity. It makes no sense to treat it as such.

    Trial in absentia is no better than extra-judicial extra-warfare assassinations.

    They just killed him, and members of his family, because.

    What would be the point of a trial when you refuse to accept the legal reasons for the trial? It'd just be a "trial, because". At least now, bin Laden is dead eliminating your need for a trial, because.
