Delta Air Lines calls for carriers to share names of unruly passengers:

Delta Air Lines is calling for an industry-wide effort to keep passengers from boarding competitors' flights after being banned for disruptive behavior.

So far this year, Delta says it has submitted the names of more than 600 banned passengers to the Federal Aviation Administration, which has sought to enforce rules against interfering with flight crews. The industry has seen a surge in poor behavior and banned passengers in recent months, with the bulk of incidents related to face mask requirements.

"We've also asked other airlines to share their 'no fly' list to further protect airline employees across the industry," Delta said in a memo this week. "A list of banned customers doesn't work as well if that customer can fly with another airline."

The company did not say whether sharing of passenger lists should be through the federal government or among companies themselves, and declined to elaborate. Delta said it has more than 1,600 people on its internal no-fly list and did not clarify why it submitted fewer than that to the FAA.

[...] The FAA was noncommittal about the idea Friday, saying in a statement the agency "is meeting with airports, airlines, unions, and others to discuss what additional steps the FAA and our industry partners can collectively take to continue driving down the number of unruly passenger incidents."

The agency said its latest data shows a decline in the rate of unruly passenger incidents. It said that as of last week, incidents involving unruly passengers occurred about six times in every 10,000 flights.

"That's an approximately 50 percent drop from early 2021, but it's more than twice as high as the end of 2020," the agency said Thursday.

Delta, how many times did I need to get a friend at 3 AM because you fucked up her connecting flight? How many times before we all said fuck it, no more fucking delta. United or Virgin Incel is just a better experience and completely worth the extra $50-$100.

Maybe if you weren't a shit airline, you wouldn't have so many "unruly" customers! Hopefully United and Virgin Incel will reject your proposal, because your "unruly" customers become their loyal customers.

Oh, your poor dumbfuck idiot, you still believe in fairy free market stories.

Wake up, you are referred today as a consumer, the "customer is king" died 20 years ago. 600 of you are a pittance in their book, all 3 of them are much better if they do share their no-fly list, so they will share it.

Idiot dumbfuck yourself. I just said that United and Virgin provided superior service. The free market still works pretty well for that. Delta is air travel for proles....

Delta once defrauded me by handing out hotel vouchers that they later refused to honor. I thought the hotel tried to pull a fast one by charging both me and the airline, so I called Delta and they told me "nope, we just decided not to pay."

Wow, that sounds like flat-out conspiracy to commit fraud. I bet you could at least get your voucher money back via some kind of out-of-court settlement.

Maybe you don't want to check in any delicate instruments [youtu.be] if you fly at least one of your other choices of carriers. The other one has a fun advertisement [youtu.be] though.

Most of these fights are about wearing masks. Put the no mask people in the back of the plane where they can happily spread germs amongst themselves. I'm just old enough to remember smoking sections in the back of the plane.

Masks will be irrelevant in half an year (ok, maybe a hole ear) time. Wanna bet those lists are here to stay? Because nothing personally, it's just good business.
Open-season for mah-freedumbs idiots who think nothing wrong can happen to them at 30,000 feet altitude with a 3mm aluminum sheet between them and a -50F rarefied atmosphere that flies back at 500+mph. Oh, yes, while in a Boeing plane, you can't trust the fuckers to do something well lately.

Yes well they use chlorine in pools, and while bleach injections have not gained popularity, maybe we could mist chlorine into the air on planes.
