In January of this year with the changing of the guard, the democrats have made the FDA (and the CIA/NSA) into sacrosanct institutions. Anybody who dares to criticize them will invariably be tagged as "Q" and consequently be accused of being anti-vax and downmodded as far as possible, something to be expected from ari, zumi, barb, and DM, and the rest of the democrat mod squad, so it was especially disappointing to hear it from mcgrew, I never took him for a worshiper.. Here's to a speedy recovery for all of you
EDIT:
Well, as the DNC Mod Squad continues its little crusade, I found out what got them started on this one. Evidently Trump criticized the FDA for not certifying his favorite tabloid medicines, and as we all know, whatever Trump is against, the democrats must defend, no matter what it is. So now, everything aimed at the FDA is about the vax, and only the vax when my criticisms are based on other things much more serious, it's quite the reversal. This is reflected in many of their obsessions, seeing any criticism of themselves as being "Trump", which partially would explain the downmods, just lashing out. Republicans are illin', but democrats are sick, with denial. Talking about the voters, the Party is doing great, can't burn the money fast enough. They love your boundless spirit and ambition.
EDIT 2:
More downmods! Democrats gone wild! Under normal circumstances this would be seen as abuse, but not this week... Keep it up. Do 'em all.. You know you want to. Show me what you got.. Too bad you can't mod journals, eh?

Bannon is important because he used populism to steal ideas that the Democrats have promised for decades but failed to deliver on. He has long pushed for Europe tier taxes on the wealthy and corporations so long as the taxes did not touch the middle class. He had Trump on board with some of these policies but ultimately Kushner won out and had Bannon fired. Bannon is dangerous because he wants to push out the current Republicans in favor for people more like the Republicans of the 1950s. He also managed to sell limits of immigration as a positive in the Latino and Black communities because it is hurting them, and correctly pointed out that in the unfair economy we have where they have less opportunity and make less money the jobs being worked by illegals push down their wages.
The current swath of corporate politians and marcusian Marxists have the same goal, break down anything that binds us together to ensure that there are revolutionary classes. The Marxists want the perpetual revolution in search of an impossible utopia and the corporatists want feudalism, but the means to the end are shared through the destruction of the middle class and pitting the races against eachother. Bannons populism is a middle ground that threatens those in power regardless of the end they want. I'm sure the end of his path sees him in some sort of position of power, but he doesn't appear to desire to excluding any race or class from having a good life.

As for vaccines, there actually is a considerable amount of transparency. If you have a problem with how approvals were given for emergency use authorizations or the full approval for Pfizer's COVID-19 vaccine, be specific instead of making vague allegations.
