SoylentNews is about a third funded for the six month period through the end of December, a bit over $1200 out of $3500 asked. Seems pretty cheap to me for what's offered, and only needs a few more people to open their wallets to stay funded through the end of this year.

Allow sock puppets to remain active and moderate, just as long as they continuously subscribe to SN. If the subscription lapses, the sock puppet account gets banned. Runaway and aristarchus would have SN fully funded in a day.

NO, this is exactly what should not happen with sock puppets. better to restrict mods to non commenters again and continue to hound the muppets p, paid or not.

No, it's perfect. Make them buy their internet points to spend on each other, and the adults can turn that stupid shit off and get on with business while they dick around moderating.
