SoylentNews is about a third funded for the six month period through the end of December, a bit over $1200 out of $3500 asked. Seems pretty cheap to me for what's offered, and only needs a few more people to open their wallets to stay funded through the end of this year.

    If this site fails it will be because of some subset of ACs who get off throwing in moltov cocktails and watching things burn.

    This once was a nice place with humans who had pretend names. It was colo who first convinced me to subscribe years ago.

      Yes. That guy would start off smug and then lose his shit when the wheels came off his narratives. But apparently he's making gobs of money in Europe to support his rockstar lifestyle or whatever, so I guess we can't feel too bad for him.
