In a nutshell, the open source Mastodon project gave Trump 30 days to comply with open source license.

"In a post to the Mastodon blog, founder and CEO Eugen Rochko explained that the problem is not simply that Truth Social uses Mastodon, but that it does so while claiming ownership over the site’s code"

I think the next step would be for Mastodon to give Trump another 30 days, order them to comply, and add the words: "or else!". Surely Trump would then comply with the open source license.

    You still haven't told us how giving him all this free press will hurt his chances in '24. Who is the target audience? Because it seems like only the democrats give a damn what he does, and I doubt they're likely to vote for him anyway
