A random post by some AC provided a link to a video https://twitter.com/i/status/1553709678089146368

That video was interesting, but doesn't really provide details, so a search led me to Youtube. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gb1MVFDy_tw

This incorporates elements of George Floyd, and many other infamous police interactions with citizens. "I can't breathe" "I have a medical condition" "My wife is pregnant" "I'm a federal agent", and maybe best of all, when ordered to get on the ground, "It ain't happening!" SURPRISE!! IT HAPPENED!

News2Share has obtained previously unreleased footage of a July 7, 2020 incident in which ATF Agent James Burk attempted to make contact with a member of the Columbus, Ohio community, who then called 911.

When Columbus PD officers Joseph Fihe and Kevin Winchell arrived, Agent Burk did not comply with their commands, even at gunpoint. The officers tased Agent Burk in the process of subduing him.

Agent Burk - who in 2015 was charged with shoplifting wine from a Kroger grocery story - is now suing the officers for excessive force.

DEERFIELD TWP., Ohio – A federal agent is charged with stealing wine from a Kroger store after employees grew suspicious and alerted authorities.

Police say ATF agent James Burk took expensive wine to the self-checkout lane and charged himself a small percent of the cost.

Burk was charged by the Warren County Sheriff's Office for stealing more than $200 in wine from the Landen Kroger.

According to deputies, they caught Burk going to the self-checkout in August and paying $19 for four bottles of wine that had a total price tag of $222.

The report says Burk bought bottles of Stag's Leap Wine priced at $62.99 and $33.99, but the code he entered charged him only $4.99.

According to the report, Kroger employees had grown suspicious of Burk and began watching him. They said he did the same thing multiple times.

https://redoubtnews.com/2021/02/when-feds-think-they-are-above-the-law/

When Feds Think They Are Above The Law
Throughout the entire encounter, Burk screamed multiple excuses as to why he should not be treated the way the Feds treat regular people every day.

And, none of the above addresses the issue of ATF agents knocking on doors, demanding to see your weapons, without a warrant. Similar instances have been documented around the country, but in most cases the agents are cooperating with local or state cops in uniform, as opposed to showing up in civilian clothes, claiming to be a federal agent.

Agent Burk is an embarrassment to any non-Nazi, non-fascist law enforcement agency.

Speaking of spam mods, the next time Runaway posts some of his conspiracy theories about teachers grooming children into the gay lifestyle, I will mod Runaway spam. There is ample precedent that overt bigotry can be modded spam and the admins will allow it to stand. The best example is Ethanol-fueled's rants, many posted anonymously, that say awful and ridiculous things about Jews. Those have routinely been modded spam, and those mods have not been overturned. Runaway's posts about grooming are effectively the same thing: blatant bigotry, posting a ridiculous conspiracy theory for the purpose of stoking hate against a group of people for who they are. Because of the precedent that the admins have established, spam modding bigotry that Runaway posts should be permitted and not reversed. I trust that the admins will do the right thing. Runaway should be held accountable the way anonymous posters are, and the way Ethanol-fueled has been. The next time I see Runaway post a comment alleging that teachers are grooming young children to be gay, I will spam mod it. Ethanol-fueled and anonymous cowards are rightly spam modded for similar behavior. Runaway should not be above the law.

      That first link is amusing.

AB5, whose official purpose is to reclassify “misclassified” workers as employees and not contractors, would illegalize the independent status of tens of thousands of drivers across the state and force truckers, including the vast majority of those who move freight off of California’s docks. Truckers would either have to sell their trucks and look for work as a company driver, bear tens of thousands of dollars in added financial costs, or move out of the state entirely. The truckers are demanding an exemption to the law for independent truckers.

Once again, we see the ridiculous fruit of California's AB5 law [wikipedia.org] which attempted to target Uber drivers (forcing them to be considered employees instead of independent contractors). Instead, it has clobbered a bunch of other people doing a bunch of legit work - here, those independent truck drivers. And due to a proposition that passed in 2020 ridesharing businesses like Uber are exempt. So the law doesn't apply any more to its original intended target.

Just some more roadkill in the California adventure.

Until then, it's all intellectual Dark Ages, every day, a future that looks like running around nekked, flailing acronym flags and clown ornamentation, with sensory-deprivation masks for every orifice... burning our heritage, our history and knowledge along the way.

The more I think about it, this new age began much earlier. There were dirty books and French postcards in the 1800s. But there were always taboos... public morals and values. George Carlin expressed it in his "The Seven Words You Can Never Say on Television" monologue. In fact, you can trace the leftward slide to The Great Depression era, when George Soros was a young pup. And in time, it all slid so far that we went from "The Love That Dare Not Say Its Name," to "The Love That Won't Shut Up." And the slide to censorship has taken a planned turn, to become a weapon of the left.

      And then one fine day
After the civilized world is free of all bad knowledge
You will be sitting under a tree
      Enjoying your controlled environment

      And it strike you

The façade is crumbling because it lacks any foundation. The SJW house — built on weird, self-contradictory, incoherent academic dogma — victimizes itself with its own inertia.

Such ideologically-driven social engineering endeavors fail, on a long enough timeline, without exception. The principal cause is that they are not rooted in material reality. Nor do they justify themselves. Nor are their abstract theories sufficiently tested in real-world conditions.

The SJW phenomenon went supernova circa 2014, and is now in the process of imploding into a black hole. The star that burns twice as bright, as the expression goes, burns half as long. The quickening is palpable.
