Yesterday, an Ohio plastic surgeon, Katharine Grawe—who accumulated nearly 15 million likes by livestreaming operations on TikTok as "Doctor Roxy"—was permanently banned from practicing medicine and surgery in Ohio.
The decision came following a November 2022 suspension temporarily barring Grawe from seeing patients after the State Medical Board of Ohio reviewed "clear and convincing evidence" from multiple patients who were harmed during Grawe's livestreamed surgeries. The board decided to suspend Grawe's license, saying that her "continued practice presents a danger of immediate and serious harm to the public."

WHOA! Just whoa, right there. What ever gave you the idea that I want to do "nothing" about crime and violence? Do you take me for a Democrat?
Some steps that would make a dent in both crime and violence are:
1. Woke prosecutors stop giving a pass to a dirt bag who happens to be of the correct complexion.
2. ALL prosecutors stop giving a pass to wealthy dirtbags.
3. Stop the nonsense of decades-long imprisonment for non-violent victimless crimes.
4. Prevent dangerous inmates from going free. Penalties for heinous crimes are simply not harsh enough.
5. Close down all those "gun free" zones. They don't work, and in fact, they attract the crazies who want to harm people.
6. Just eliminate all the laws that prevent law-abiding citizens from acquiring and carrying their weapon of choice. Again, the laws don't work, because violent criminals and gang bangers still get THEIR weapons.
7. The media voluntarily stop giving the 'fifteen minutes of fame' to every crazy bastard who performs a heinous act.
And, someone needs to help me understand why being murdered by bludgeoning is any more humane than being shot. Murder is murder. The elimination of personal weapons only ensures that the strongest person can enforce his will on weaker people. God made man, Sam Colt made men equal.

^^ You said more than you had intended to, here. Your entire angle is about keeping your guns, all other concerns are secondary. Your uneven zeal to protect the lives of children is hurting you.
Okay. If being whacked is exactly the same then the good news is there are a variety of alternative weapons you can defend your home with! They never jam and there's no ammo to buy!

No, the entire angle is about ending senseless violence. And, if there is to be violence, I want to tilt the odds in favor of the innocent. Seriously, if someone is going to die today, it really ought to be the violent criminal, not the person the criminal intends to victimize.
