Glad you mentioned C-64! I don't actually remember whether my first computing experience was on a C-64 at school or the TI 99/4A at home. I'm hard pressed to call using either one "OS experience" since I don't remember interacting with the OS on either one except through the BASIC interface, but those are my first computing experiences. DOS from a floppy disk on a WANG government surplus computer comes next (and got me through college), followed by Win 3.1/3.11. Ah, the good old days...
