I thought it this would be fun everybody. I thought it might be interesting to compare desktop screenshots and see what other SoylentNews user interfaces look like. Tiling window manager or stacking? Desktop environment or not? Are you minimalist? What operating systems are you using?

What about your phone/tablet/phablet?

I'll start: Desktop and Cellular Phone.

Don't like posting screenshots, for various reasons ...

But, for my phone, it is an Xperia ZL, and runs the regular Sony Android (KitKat). But to make it even faster, I have Nova Launcher [google.com], which I recommend for anyone using Android.

On my tablet, an old Acer Iconia A500, I use OmniROM 4.4.4 KitKat [tegraowners.com] as well, also with Nova Launcher.

For my desktop, I have been using KDE since forever, around a decade and an a half. First on Mandrake Linux, then on Ubuntu. Don't specially love or hate KDE, it just gets the job done. I can probably live with XFCE or LXDE. Just waiting to see how this systemd thing will settle, and choose a distro that allows me to not use it.
