I thought it this would be fun everybody. I thought it might be interesting to compare desktop screenshots and see what other SoylentNews user interfaces look like. Tiling window manager or stacking? Desktop environment or not? Are you minimalist? What operating systems are you using?
What about your phone/tablet/phablet?

I think I pass the test. There's not much on my desktop to identify me.
One "feature" of my desktop - anything minimized on my right screen is "invisible". There is no icon. Anything that I might not want seen in a screenshot is moved to the right screen, and minimized. To find it again, I click anywhere in open space, select "Windows" and click the hidden window to bring it into focus.
I'm a distro hopper, and I've found myself chasing the latest and greatest Enlightenment desktops. Sparky in this case, but Sabayon, Bluestar, and others have done great things with Enlightenment.
Oh - as a distro hopper, there really isn't much identifying stuff on any of my desktops. THAT stuff is pretty much kept stashed on a separate hard drive from the OS drive, not on my desktop. When I nuke and reinstall, everything is still where it was for the past years, no need to put it all onto the desktop!
