Redhat 4.1 (kernel 2.0.27) was my very first distro, but I've since tried most every other ~popular distro, except Gentoo and Slackware. I really liked Mint, until they dumped their KDE flavor. I tried KDE Neon, and it's great, but I got really frustrated with the way Ubuntu has made snap an essential part of their distro and its derivatives.

So, I use Rocky and Alma on my server and VMs, and Fedora KDE on my Dell laptop.
