Actually, I use kelvins and radians more than degrees in either meaning. But if I use degrees, it is usually for centigrades. My present job involves optics to handle laser beams at small angles as well as kinetic gas theory.
But do you write 70° F or 70° F (20 °C or 20° C)?

20 °C. Here, °C is a single token which would fail to parse if separated ;-)
