    beyond downmods from overly sensitive individuals that do not or choose not to know the facts.

    The facts being your past history on this site - or are we all meant to ignore that? You have raised numerous complaints (or more correctly the same complaint numerous times) in lots of different journals. You are now doing it again but this time you have been asked for your views. But you are also complaining in other journals at the same time. That is what you are moderated for. Not for a mistaken identity. Not because I think you are someone else. But because you are YOU - and YOU keep doing this in various journals. Please read the site rules regarding repetitious and off-topic comments (hint: they are Spam)

    You being angry does not change anything on this site. Proposing changes to the site rules that you dislike might help. Sending a formal complaint to the Board might get the changes that you seek initiated. Offering to help the site in a more practical manner by stepping up and doing something useful would certainly help. But you refuse to do any of these things because you fear something that I cannot identify.

    The world is not a perfect place. Complaining about it will not change anything. You should be the change that you seek.

    There is still a legal requirement to remove any material that the relevant government has said is unacceptable. To imagine that the fediverse is different is a flaw in your logic. The FBI have seized and closed down fediverse servers (some outside of the US) for making available illegal material. For small servers (perhaps such as ours) the task falls upon the instance manager. Would you want that task? Would you volunteer for it?

    Fediverse instances can, and must, have a means of deleting material and accounts.
