We might both be better off with less alcohol and a lot more weed in each of our lives. Much less time to be an asshole while you are all chilled out. Something about the booze though, even though it makes you feel worse at the end of the day, you feel like you need it. It isn't even a lie when you tell yourself you had a hard day, I need a drink to even this shit day out. But that drink takes its toll, hours and hours past the time you had it... wears you out, runs you down, tells you it is needed tomorrow. Find someway to bail on the booze and double down on the weed, it will help break your cycle. Just like the cake in Portal, alcohol is a lie.
