Thanks ncommander. One patch one change seems like a good thing. My pull request affects 2 files but changes to both files are interrelated; I'm assuming that still constitutes a single patch? Starting to get my head around some things to the point where I feel a bit more confident navigating the vm and slashcode. Still not really sure how much use i could be but I'll keep tinkering, as always :-)
