In case Soylentils were looking for other DIY projects that are NSFS (Not Safe For School), this project came up on the Featured list on Instructables:

The PiTank is a web controller tank built for a competition at my school's robotics club. The project took about two weeks to complete with all 5 team members participating in various aspects. Its main projectile are ping pong balls (up to 3).The firing mechanism is based on a spud gun. The PiTank is controlled using a web browser and is capable of real-time video streaming. It is powered by a Raspberry Pi and an Arduino, along with a few other components. Here is a picture of the completed project and a demonstration video.

The instructable itself will touch on every aspect of the build but will not go into the small details. However, links to other useful tutorials and reference guides will be provided.

Just to the West of the older four Caltech Student Houses are some ornamental, inedible orange trees. I expect they cut down all the tasty oranges to plant bitter oranges so as to keep a lid on the homeless people of Pasadena.

From time to time, Ricketts House fires oranges out of a cannot made of PVC pipe with the explosive being a mixture of air and some manner of flammable gas. I never really asked as I was on the front lines, hurling oranges at the "Moles" or Blacker House residents.

I was once hit in the ear by an orange with such great force that my ear was ringing for twelve hours. I feared I was deafened but my hearing eventually returned.

I kept two precious little kittens in my room the last time there was such an Orange War. They had a grand old time bounding about among the orange debris. I expect it smelled nice to cats. They smell nice to people actually, but you get a surprise if you bite into one.

I expect propane would work well too but the butane refills I expect were more amenable to squirting through the hole one used to detonate the cannon.
