The TurkeyBlocks monitoring network has detected restrictions on access to multiple social media services Facebook, Twitter and YouTube throughout Turkey beginning Friday Nov 04 2016 1:20AM local time, ongoing as of Friday noon.
Restrictions on messaging services WhatsApp, Skype and Instagram have also now been detected, validating widespread user complaints about WhatsApp service failure in Turkey – the first time nationwide restrictions have been detected on the popular messaging apps in recent years.
The incident is believed to be related to the detention of multiple leaders of opposition political party HDP, accompanied by raids of the HDP headquarters in Ankara.
Such a sad turn of events for such a wonderful country.

It's not so blatant. Hillary has people inside Facebook, Twitter, and Youtube to shut down content the government does not like. Since Saudi Arabia, UAE, and Qatar bought into the project, they have people inside too.

It's coming regardless of which if the two major parties wins. The US is well on its way to becoming a police state, thoroughly owned by corporations.

Thank you for providing such an excellent example of masterful trolling: a short statement, not backed up by any facts (or insight, or humour for that matter). This type of trolling reminds me of an observation someone made about the climate change debate: a climate change denier can squawk the first dopey brain fart to bubble up in a split second, leaving a scientist to try refute said brain fart by explaining very complex issues that they would struggle to convey in the short time span usually awarded to them (in a media interview for instance). Very effective trolling tactic.
