I'm off for another week of lake visiting tomorrow afternoon Central. Camping with female companionship this time. I expect there to be more sex but less fishing than the last trip. So, mixed bag.

Start picking your interim targets of blame now to avoid the rush. If all else fails, try the ~blame command on IRC.

Go to Bucklberry Lake in North Carolina.

Lots of good fishing and diving out East. I could only dream of California scummery with the kind of fun they have out there.

Man, if I'm going to be away from air conditioning for a week in August, it's not gonna be in the Carolinas (or anywhere else that knows what humidity is). I had more than enough of that at Relaxin' Jackson back in the day. And while I'm thinking of it, fuck Tank Hill.

      > Go to Bucklberry Lake in North Carolina.
Mis-direction -- not found on Google Maps or in several lists of NC lakes.

Maybe Eth got confused and meant this lake?

Even more boring than Snow, since it allegedly involves actual catfish. This is why SoylentNews is dying. This, and the dearth of aristarchus submissions. What happened to aristarchus?

Like the great Bertie Wooster, I am partial to a spot of philosophy (particularly in the context of popular music). Keeps the mind off miserable things like Brexit and the apparent take over of hitherto nominally civillised places by the Alt-Wrong and their ilk. It's a pity Aristarchus didn't put out more journal entries. Oh well. Perhaps if I live another few hundred years I might see the next one?

As much as I disagree with Arist on many things, I read everything posted by Arist to their journal. Arist subbing articles about the left winning daily and then suddenly leaving after being defeated by the right is just disappointing.

He was around the other day. Submitting editorials on the alt-right to the front page queue (instead of his journal) must get tiring.

It's holiday season: 32°C in Athens today, actually 31.9445°C but ari probably makes it 30.556°C such is his margin of error.
