Man, if I'm going to be away from air conditioning for a week in August, it's not gonna be in the Carolinas (or anywhere else that knows what humidity is). I had more than enough of that at Relaxin' Jackson back in the day. And while I'm thinking of it, fuck Tank Hill.

Like the great Bertie Wooster, I am partial to a spot of philosophy (particularly in the context of popular music). Keeps the mind off miserable things like Brexit and the apparent take over of hitherto nominally civillised places by the Alt-Wrong and their ilk. As much as I disagree with Arist on many things, I read everything posted by Arist to their journal. Arist subbing articles about the left winning daily and then suddenly leaving after being defeated by the right is just disappointing.
