Reading the transcript, one should not conclude that the conversation was not recorded. It was clearly stated that he lived in a two-party state, and that it would be illegal to record a conversation without both party's consent. He never stated, "No, I am not recording this conversation."
Does Matt state, in any other place, that he definitely DID NOT make a recording?
Maybe he stepped around the issue on a technicality, using a speech-to-text application to make the transcript?

I didn't catch an indication that other individuals were on the line, but it is entirely possible that this was a community call, certainly noone else spoke.
And yeah, it isn't particularly rare to have touch typists that can keep up with a conversation (I've manage to do it, barely, not while holding a discussion myself however. The big trick for me is to not go correct typo's and minor errors in real time.)
Speech to text converter is an interesting thought, have to wonder if that's been tested against those laws.
Also didn't think the Grima Wormtongue treatment they gave the voice of the Patreon Baghdad Bob was necessary.

Kind of, yeah. But Cohen committed bank fraud by lying on the loan application to get the $130k, the LLC submitted fake invoices to the trump org for reimbursement, and the trump org paid those invoices knowing they were fake. That is called money laundering. And let's not forget the NDA had fake names on it to hide the participants.

No, that's not money laundering. Fraud is fraud but hiding a money trail is perfectly legal so long as the money is legal, what you're doing with it is legal, and how you hide it is legal. It's especially hypocritical how most all of these companies start out by saying how committed to free speech they are, but later on the ridiculous restrictions on the type of content they allow increase and they still claim to care about the principle of free speech (i.e. not the first amendment). If you want to be a censorious asshole, then just admit that that's what you are, instead of also being a lying, hypocritical piece of garbage. Wasn't PayPal doing some exceptionally douchey political freezing of accounts and banning of certain industries? Credit card companies too, I think. Payment processing places should *not* be allowed to do dictate what money can be used for. I'm pretty sure we have laws to handle that bad stuff.

PayPal is pretty shitty too, yes. If I thought we could get away with dropping them, I'd absolutely be making that case on a daily basis.
Stripe is much better but still somewhat shitty in that direction. I'm taking a wait and see attitude with them.
Visa and Mastercard don't give a fuck unless they think inaction might lead to regulation though.

I seem to remember Visa and MasterCard refusing donations to someone or something and freezing accounts. It may have been PayPal in all cases but I'd swear there was one involving credit card companies. It's remotely possible I'll have the energy to look it up.

Of course, by that same token I don't presume to run their lives or second guess them, since I have different experiences from them, like not going through the wrong puberty which sounds like some kind of horror story.

No, they're not. They've gone through a lot of trouble to get as close as they can but they are not and never will be female. They're playing biological dress-up. That is how I view them now and how I will always view them in the future.
I won't tell them how to think of themselves but they don't get to tell me how to think of them either.
That aside, I really don't care if they feel either desire or compulsion to get their femininity on. More power to them. Just out of curiosity, is there *anything* you would be opposed to private enterprise doing, or angry with them for not doing? Anything at all?
For example, if someone started a company that kidnapped and killed homeless people, orphans, and similar and sold their organs, would you be opposed to this? If so or if not, why, and if so, what remedies do you believe appropriate to stop these people and who should administer them?

A company, so long as they are not abusing monopoly powers or breaking existing law, might garner my personal disfavor (I am part of the market, as are you.) but would never in any circumstance I've considered have me asking for executive intervention.
A company abusing monopoly powers or breaking the law would instantly have me asking for such.
Legislation refining or creating new laws might or might not have my backing, depending on the specifics.
Creating new laws from the bench will always have my opposition.
Note: Monopoly powers do not necessarily exist only in by-the-book monopolies. They crop up many other places naturally, via collusion, via corruption, or with simple unspoken agreement. All abuses of such need carefully looked into at the very least. Non-abuses of such can be generally be ignored for expedience's sake until they become a problem.

Way to avoid the question. The only thing that came close to answering my hypothetical about the Orphans and Homeless Organ Harvesting, Inc. company was "breaking existing law," and this itself is a dodge.
Many existing laws get in the way of profit generation and market freedom. Why should these laws take priority, simply because they already exist? I'm sure there are plenty of existing laws--which you will refer to with the word "regulation" as if it were a swear word--you'd like to see gone, so don't give me that "breaking existing law" crap.
Furthermore, you have as I hoped contradicted yourself: you've acknowledged, at least indirectly, that the Free Market (TM) is not God, because it depends on certain laws and the rule of law existing for its own existence. We may therefore safely say it does not possess divine aseity :)
So you've taken the necessary first step. Now, think a bit harder: why should economic activity, however you define it, be the be-all and end-all purpose of human existence? This is that moral priority-inversion bug you've got that I've pointed out before: you're putting a thing (or a great constellation of things, to be fair...) above people. Content on SoylentNews is sufficient for Patreon.Com to instantly ban an account. The random racism and homophobia (often from unauthenticated users) means that at least 0.5% of the messages would be hate speech. (For comparison, 2.3% of Twitter.Com is hate speech and 5.4% of Gab.Com is hate speech [wikipedia.org].) Even if SoylentNews deleted 1.0% of its messages this may not be sufficient to appease Patreon.Com. So, don't bother.
