The title says it all really, PCWorld has compiled a list of the 17 Best Free PC Games for your consideration. Some you have probably heard of, some you may not, but all are free.

As the 'list' is one of those javascript scrolling pages which aims to cram 1 page of information into 18, I've compiled the list here:

Not being a gamer, I cannot say if it is ordered best first, or last. But is your free game mentioned? And how many of these have you tried?
