A new bill in Tennessee is aiming to have internet providers block all porn on every device.
Rep. James Micah Van Huss (R-Jonesborough) filed the ""Safer Internet for Minors Act," or HB 2294, this week. It would essentially make those of age and wishing to view porn take extra steps to do so.
Right now, Van Huss' office says internet providers allow porn on devices by default. Parents, for example, manually have to go in and "opt out" of allowing porn.
This bill aims to have internet providers block porn by default and have those wishing to viewing porn, who are of legal age, manually "opt in."

Yes, let's have ISPs decide what counts as porn and what doesn't, thus deciding what is affected by this and what isn't, I'm sure that'll end well.
You could argue we could just define what porn is, but that's been a notoriously undefined concept in the US courts.

Nope, that wasn't a joke about the Japanese, but now that I've noticed it, yes it was, it was a very clever joke about the Japanese.

How about this. Create a new Federal Department of Pr0n. Give it a generous budget and staff. After all, pr0n is one of the number one problems faced by the US, if not the entire pr0n seeking world.
This new federal department will actively review the internet for things that might be considered pr0n After sufficient amounts of review, by multiple staff, to ensure fairness, the department will formulate letters to ISPs about what sites should be blocked.
Churches already registered with the IRS can register with the Department of Pr0n to have a direct API which allows them to INSTANTLY block any content on the internet which is deemed offensive. Review will be unnecessary, since they are churches and would not abuse this super power. ISPs will be required to instantly and automatically implement these blocks. The RIAA, MPAA, the Trump administration, and Putin will be given direct access to this internet blocking mechanism.
Problem solved.

Now what do you have against pr0ns? They are quite tasty I'll have you know! Why just the other day I had a lovely pr0n salad while dear Mrs. Lawn filled herself up with all the pr0ns she could eat. Now I know that some people won't touch pr0ns on religious grounds, and if they won't that's fine. Nobody is going to force them to eat shellfish. But I say that if someone wants a good pr0n in their life they should have every right to be able to access it. Little children need good sources of protein and I am told few things are better than a pr0n for this! I mean really!
