Yes, but cmdrklarg's argument doesn't make sense. He's worried that if the Dems kill the filibuster, then when the Reps get a majority they can just ram all the bills they want through. But they can only do that if they have a majority, and if they have a majority then they can just kill the filibuster anyway.
The only thing keeping the filibuster does is hamstring the Dems current slight majority.
