Had another incredible day today. Would have been PERFECT if it wasn't so cold -- we'd love some of that good old Global Warming!

I proclaimed it Martin Luther King Day. Made it a Holiday for our fantastic Federal Workers. My way of thanking them for all they're doing for our Country. And VP Pence joined me for a little visit to the statue of Martin. Who was a big believer in our monuments, our statues. Big fan of Stone Mountain in Georgia, where they honor, so beautifully, the heroes of our Confederacy -- and their noble horses. President Jefferson Davis with his Generals Robert E. Lee & Stonewall Jackson. Who they were calling Stonewall before they carved him into the mountain there. They're thinking of carving Martin into that same mountain. Hopefully on a horse, the fine people from both sides riding together. Very classy, that will truely look majestic and we want him to look like a King.

I'll tell you, I felt like a King today. When we were at Martin's statue, VP Pence said something so beautiful and so smart. He said I'm doing exactly what Martin did. That "He inspired us to change through the legislative process to become a more perfect union." Thank you, Mike. I'm very honored. And it's so true. Martin was a fighter. And he would be fighting very hard for Border Security -- if he was still around (RIP!!). Because he loved Barriers. Because he loved our Country, and without a Border you don't have a Country!

This is for the haters & loosers. The ones that have never been to Russia but are always saying, "oh, Russia, Russia, Russia." That want me to get impeached. Or they think if they just say mean things & tweet scarey pictures I'll quit -- Kathy Griffin should be ashamed of herself. Trust me, I'm not about to quit.

Today I'm starting my 3rd year. Important for VP Pence. And, for you. Because of Constitution.

"No person shall be elected to the office of the President more than twice, and no person who has held the office of President, or acted as President, for more than two years of a term to which some other person was elected President shall be elected to the office of the President more than once." The 22nd. Amendment.

VP Pence takes over today -- he's not going to, but if he did -- he gets, I think, 10 years minus a day. Up to. Because you get to elect him twice. He steps in tomorrow and it's 10 years minus 2 days. And maybe you're thinking, "oh, impeach him too." Not going to happen. The guy doesn't even have pictures of his wife. In case they give him impure thoughts. Enjoy!

Getting so many messages thanking & congratulating me. And I want to say, you're welcome. Because -- in about half an hour -- it's 2 years since my glorious Inauguration. Since our swearing in. Me and VP Pence. I say swearing. But without cussing. I'm from New York, we don't do that. But, I've done so much. And it has been something very special. We’ve done things that nobody would have thought possible. And I say it often -- and I don’t get rebuked for saying it -- but no administration has done more in the first two years than the Trump administration.

When you think about the tax cuts and the regulation cuts, and all of the things that have happened, including two great, new Supreme Court justices. They're young guys, they're going to be in those seats for a very very long time. And hopefully we'll have a couple more seats opening very soon. And the Court of Appeals Judges, so important. People don't think about that one. But I've appointed more in the first two years than any President. Great article in the Amazon Washington Post. It has been a very, very special, special time. And we’re doing so much. And we did the criminal justice reform. First Step Act. They’ve been trying to do it for many, many years. Couldn't do it. Then -- President Donald J. Trump. And it happened, very beautifully. And so many of our wonderful Felons getting the vote now. Getting a Franchise. In Florida, in many places. And so many getting out of our prisons earlier -- because of me and a lot of smart Congress people from both sides.

And if the Republicans and the Democrats get together, we are going to end up with incredible healthcare, which is the way it should have been from Day One. The Universal, my biggest promise. And it’s going to happen. It now has a chance to happen.

And the other thing I'd love to see them start working on very shortly is an Infrastructure Bill, because that’s something I think everybody wants to see. And a big part of the new, and very strong infrastructure needs to be on our Southern Border. The Wall, the Barrier, Fence -- call it whatever you want. Terrible situation down there. For the migrants and everybody else. So hopefully we’ll start working on that. People ask me, "what about the Wall, didn't you say you were going to build the wall?" I haven't forgotten that one, believe me. And by the way, new Poll. Saying my support w/Hispanics shot up 19%. To, it's now 50%. Don't we love Polls? I love the Polls when they're very positive.

1975, they came out with SNL and it was the best thing on TV. First episode they had George Carlin (RIP!!) hosting it, he told it like it was. Great cast, the Not Ready For Prime-Time Players. Hilarious characters. Gilda Radner (RIP!!) as Roseanne Roseannadanna, so funny. Chevy Chase, Dan Akroid, Jon Belushi (RIP!!), Steve Martin, Jane Curtin with the news, Lorraine Newman -- true greats. Truely great.

Now look at it. Actually, don't bother. Like many, I don’t watch Saturday Night Live (even though I past hosted it) -- no longer funny, no talent or charm. It is just a political ad for the Dems. Tonight they have Rachel Brosnahan of the horrible Paris to Pittsburgh Fakeumentary. Pass!!

Folks, it's been 10 days -- 10 lonely days, going on 11, and 11 lonely nights -- since I gave my Presidential Address on so many Networks (CBS, CNN, Fox News, MSNBC, NBC, ABC, PBS, Fox and many more). Very proud of the Ratings on that one. Monster ratings. Like I bring to every broadcast -- including the negative ones. So many Americans watched. And listened. But, Chuck & Nancy didn't listen. It's like they didn't listen. Because they're still obstructing. They shut down our Government and so many folks are suffering because of that. While the Criminals, Sacks of Drugs & Human Traffickers pore into our Country. And there's another Caravan coming. Mexico is doing NOTHING to stop the Caravan which is now fully formed and heading to the United States. We stopped the last two -- many are still in Mexico but can’t get through our Wall, but it takes a lot of Border Agents if there is no Wall (not easy at all).

The bad people keep trying to get through. So I'm going to try again to get through. This afternoon, 3pmE. If you know any Dems, tell them to tune in. Because I'm going to make a MAJOR announcement concerning the Humanitarian Crisis on our Southern Border, and the Shutdown. But, I'm not doing this one from the Oval Office. It's oval. Microsoft to hold HoloLens 2 press event next month

Microsoft is holding a press event at Mobile World Congress next month, and it looks like we’ll get some details on HoloLens 2. The software giant will hold its event on Sunday February 24th at 5PM CET (11AM ET), and CEO Satya Nadella, Technical Fellow Alex Kipman, and CVP Julia White will all be in attendance. Kipman’s name indicates this will likely be a HoloLens 2 event, given his close involvement with this project.

Codenamed Sydney, the headset is expected to include an improved field of view, and be a lot lighter and more comfortable to wear. HoloLens 2 will also include Microsoft’s latest generation of the Kinect sensor and a custom AI chip to improve performance. Microsoft is also rumored to be using Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 850 processor inside the HoloLens 2, making it an ARM-powered device.

I spent an incredible Christmas with my great, and very brave Soldiers in Iraq. So of course Obstructionist Nancy Pelosi wants to visit a War Zone too. My Soldiers, and many others, are going without pay, because the Dems shut down our government (they have NO IDEAS & NO CLASS, they only Obstruct). But Nancy wants a Vacation. Pence declares 'ISIS has been defeated' on the same day as deadly Syria attack

On the same day that an ISIS-claimed attack killed US service members in Syria, Vice President Mike Pence declared that "the caliphate has crumbled and ISIS has been defeated."

Pence's remark to the Global Chiefs of Mission conference at the US State Department came about an hour after the US-led coalition confirmed that American troops had been killed in an explosion in Manbij.

"U.S. service members were killed during an explosion while conducting a routine patrol in Syria today. We are still gathering information and will share additional details at a later time," the tweet from Operation Inherent Resolve said.

ISIS claimed responsibility for the attack, which the ISIS-affiliated Amaq agency said was carried out by a suicide bomber with an explosive vest.

Folks, I'm declaring today the Birthday of Martin Luther King Jr. Otherwise known as M. L. K.. Martin is an example of somebody who's done an amazing job and is being recognized more and more, I notice. Especially after he did that glorious commercial for Dodge. For the Dodge Ram. It's only a commercial. But it was a great way to get his name out there. As an actor, of course you want to be in the productions that pay a lot of money. But if you're smart, you wait for the ones that make you look fabulous. Home Alone 2, when I read the script for that one I knew immediately it would become a true Christmas classic. And as usual, I was right. Nicolas Cage, everybody's heard of Nicolas Cage. But, you hear he's in a movie. And you don't know if it's a good one. Or not so good. Face/Off, great film. Left Behind, not so great. Mike loves that one. And frankly, he lives that one. Tries to live it. But for me it's very meh. Nick's very talented. Unfortunately he doesn't know how to pick a winner. But Martin knocked it out of the park with that beautiful, and very moving, Dodge Ram ad. Which they showed during the Super Bowl. Scoring a touchdown for Dodge. And for Martin. Martin wasn't born today. But, he was born on this date. Same date but in a different year, much earlier. Like 90 years ago or even more. Long time ago. And unfortunately, they killed him (RIP!!). They put out the hit on him. And made some very dumb mistakes. But still got away with it. James Earl Ray paid the price for that one. He was a patsy, as everyone knows. But, they locked him up for it and he died very painfully in prison. As the real killers laughed and laughed.

And U. S. A. Today said it so beautifully, with a lot of heart. They said, "when Martin Luther King Jr. was killed, he was less popular than Donald Trump is today." Another way to say, I'm much more popular than he was. In spite of his great work for Dodge. That's so true. And I'm very proud of that.

By the way, Steve King, one of our Iowa Republicans in Congress, said one of those things that makes you go "hmm." He said, "white nationalist, white supremacist, Western civilization -- how did that language become offensive? Why did I sit in classes teaching me about the merits of our history and our civilization?" It's called political correctness. We've taken it much too far. And it's tearing our Nation apart. They say United States. But Obama divided us. I'm working every day on, how can we be less politically correct? So is Steve. And M. L. K., if he was around, would be working with us on that one. With Steve who, probably, is a relative. Because they're both named King, right? Maybe they're relatives and maybe they're not. Doesn't really matter. They're both great guys!!!
