Yeah, so life has managed to delay our December Update until February. Things happen. The only change to what's in it is that I wrote up a simple plugin to syndicate content to Twitter, which is very much preferable to our current situation since we're pushing stories from a hacky little script on my desktop at the moment and I'd like to be able to boot Windows 7 for some vidya once in a while.
Downtime should be five minutes or less starting around 2:00AM UTC (an hour and forty minutes from now).

Yeah, I'll look into it in the morning. It wouldn't be a proper rollout without at least one good bug though.

Perhaps, Oh Mighty Buzzarch, you could use some #freearistarchus!!!? Won't cost you anything, and may help keep off all those trolls inquiring about your booty status.

Upon further reflection this morning, I will not be fixing non-breaking bugs this AM. I will be booted into Win7 playing some much delayed vidya since I can now reboot again.

The place where this could make a difference is when folks re-post a "link" that's actually a URL that gets auto-linkified.
Those would now be several characters longer.
(I'm the guy who gripes about extra-long/-wide "links".)
As long as it's on the list, I expect it will get patched.
No biggie.
Hey, if that's the most serious thing anybody's spotted, that kind of goodness earned some playtime.

The comments preferences page broke as well. Somehow the templates for that page lost its unicode-friendly status and Touché being spelled correctly made everything shit the bed. It's temporarily fixed though.
