The submissions queue is running very low. Please support the site and make submissions on the usual topics because, without them, we will have to reduce the number of stories that we can publish each day.

Thank you.

oh. and will smith should have apologized immediately to his kids, his wife, chris rock, black men everywhere, black people everywhere, rich people everywhere, and everyone else for witnessing his self-involved attack on a world that refuses to be about him. roughly in that order.

oh. and China is commiting genocide. and they plan to take over russia whenever putin is out of the picture (although they will probably be fairly subtle about it).

plenty of things worthy to talk about, except that on this site most signals are drowned out by noise.
as it will always happen in any "online community" where anonymous posting is allowed.

are you going to say that what I proposed is not on topic for this "nerdy" website?
well, if many people here are technically oriented, probably programming experts, then they should be delighted at a chance to study the effects of having human brains on planet earth, since human brains are an extremely efficient neural network (technically some billionth iteration of a self-assembled molecule complex). and programming is all about neural networks, isn't it? and all we want is more neural networks on planet earth.

PS: for all my complaining about noise crowding out the signal, I have to admit I feel better after throwing all of that up.
