Meeting Announcement: The next meeting of the SoylentNews governance committee is scheduled for Wednesday, December 13th, 2023 at 21:00 UTC (4pm Eastern) in #governance on SoylentNews IRC. Logs of the meeting will be available afterwards for review, and minutes will be published when complete.

    I see that a quorum has not been reached in the last two meetings.

    Is there any underlying reason for this such as a dispute, or galloping apathy?

    Things looked to be going well, then my perception is a sudden halt in proceedings. I was looking forward to things being stable so I could renew my subscription,

    I saw something in the logs about daylight saving time making it difficult for everyone to be available at the same time but would be interesting to know if there are other more serious reasons. I think janrinok is out on doctor's orders--not sure if that reduces the number needed for a quorum though.
