  Because he's not what you claim. For me, there's three things in particular that stand out: 1) inserting his bullshit into real problems (pathological undermining of the US's covid response, his cynical and polarizing response to protest, and the unending thrashing of his policies), 2) repeatedly breaking law (all those court cases you allege he is "mostly winning", but not winning), and 3) even when he is following through on stuff the US actually needs (such as cutting back on the federal deficit or immigration reform), his administration is following through so badly that it'll probably be years after the end of his term before we will see a credible attempt to fix those things.

  In fact, I would support treason prison (very long sentences) for anyone who commits violence against any govt. agency that is trying to fix the problems in the US.

  Like the January 6 protesters who committed many acts of violence against Congress and law enforcement? How many years do they deserve? The Viking guy who sat in Pelosi's chair? 20 years to life! The dude who nailed up that cheap gallows that can barely support the piece of rope dangling from it? Make the family pay for the bullet, amirite!

  Despite the constant bashing from many outside the US, and now more and more internally, we are good, caring, and generous. But your criticisms and damages are not only taking away from what we had (from which we could be generous), but you're causing fear that causes us to retract from feeling a security from which we derive generosity.

  First, you advocated both forcing someone to pick up trash with their teeth (see below) and "treason prison". You aren't "good, caring, and generous". Don't waste our time with that doublespeak. If your approach depends on everyone getting on board, then it should fail. Let's move on and try something that works instead.

  You're like a bunch of sick bullies in a schoolyard picking on the smart nerd kid. If it was up to me y'all would be picking up litter with your teeth as punishment.

  "with your teeth"? I guess we know who the wannabe bully is. I have a suggestion here: get a clue. If that requires you to go out to your street and start picking up trash with your teeth, sure go for it. But I suspect that thinking (with your brain) would get you further.
  
  My view: nobody who hasn't already drunk the Trump kool aid will start now. And your side is losing people.
