The last step to render I:8:11 a dead letter is currently being debated in a federal appeal.

Trump Justice Department: Wars are off limits to court review

A Trump administration attorney said Friday that federal courts cannot evaluate whether a president is waging an illegal war, even if the war clearly has no grounding in a congressional authorization of force and someone directly impacted sues.

The claim was made during oral arguments in an appeal filed by Nathan Michael Smith, a now-former Army intelligence analyst who sued last year claiming former President Barack Obama was illegally fighting Islamic State terrorists without an authorization for use of military force, or AUMF, from Congress.

[...] "What if the president were to initiate hostilities with a nation or organization that wasn't plausibly within these AUMFs, would that be subject to review?" Griffith asked.

"No, I think, is the short answer. No," said Thomas Byron, an experienced Justice Department attorney.

I agree that Congress badly needs to take back the power to decide we need to run around blowing people up but your approach to convincing anyone of it is at best impotent and at worst counterproductive.

Please stop using the word "sociopath". It loses impact and meaning when you use it for everyone you disagree with. We already have words for that which are much more effective at expressing your displeasure with someone and do not suffer from overuse; shithead, asshole, cock-biting fucktard, etc...

Get over the hyperbole as well. When you call everyone "literally Hitler", the same thing as above happens.

Medically, sociopathy is termed as antisocial personality disorder. It is defined as "a mental health condition in which a person has a long-term pattern of manipulating, exploiting, or violating the rights of others."

There is no mistake here, you're an asshole as usual trying to water down everything because you are apparently an ignoramus that does not like "big elitist words". Sociopath now applies to a massive percentage of US citizens, it is pretty much baked into our society.

So anyone who disagrees with you is incapable of empathy? And you think they're the ones fucked up in the head?

Never said any of that, shows where your mind is at. The persecution complex is strong with this one!

Nice tactic there, putting words in their mouth. It's almost like you are exploiting disagreement in order to manipulate the conversation on to your own terms. Such exploitation!
