"Seoul's Defense Ministry said Monday it will pull back dozens of its frontline loudspeakers on Tuesday.

It says Seoul expects Pyongyang to do the same.

South Korea had turned off its loudspeakers ahead of Friday's summit talks, and North Korea responded by halting its own broadcasts." foxnews.com/world/2018/04/30/latest-s-korea-to-remove-loudspeakers-at-border.html

Seoul had blasted propaganda messages and K-pop songs from border loudspeakers since the North's fourth nuclear test in early 2016. The North quickly matched the South's action with its own border broadcasts.

"South Korean President Moon Jae-in said Monday that President Trump deserves to win a Nobel Peace Prize for his role in talks to denuclearize the Korean peninsula and end the decades-long war between the North and South.

They gave one to Obama for winning an election, it's not like the Nobel peace prize has any credibility left.

Let me tell you, Saddam Hussein was a bad guy. A really bad guy. But he didn't do terrorism. He killed terrorists. He did that so good. They didn’t read them the rights. They didn’t talk. They were terrorists. It was over. And he didn't have a nuclear arsenal. Bush Jr. said, "oh, the yellow cake, oh the mushroom cloud." Crooked Hillary, "oh, the yellow cake, oh the mushroom cloud." Colin Powell, "oh, the yellow cake, oh the mushroom cloud." The failing Fake News New York Times, "oh, the yellow cake, oh the mushroom cloud." But I always, always said "hold on, this is going to be a big mistake." I was right. I tend to be right. Obviously the war in Iraq was a big, fat mistake. We should have never been in Iraq. They lied. They said there were weapons of mass destruction. There were none, and they knew that there were none. Saddam Hussein let on that maybe he had them. Because it made him look stronger than he was. He didn't look strong enough. We came, we saw, he died. As Crooked Hillary said.

But Chairman Kim has a nuclear arsenal. Maybe not H-bombs. He says he has the H-bomb, my Generals say maybe, probably not. Possibly "boosted," it's a very special A-bomb. Bigger bang than regular "A," not as big as the "H." But even regular "A" can be a big problem, right? But everybody says he has a nuclear arsenal. He says it, my Generals say it, the Chinese scientists say it, our Fake News media say it. It's not Fake News, they're not lying this time. Do you think they're lying? And he's disrespected our country greatly. He got away with it for a long time, between him and his family. He has said things that are horrific. And with me, he’s not getting away with it. He’s not getting away with it. I said we can't have madmen out there, shooting rockets all over the place. Little Rocket Man. He called me a dotard, I'm no dotard. Believe me. I told him I would unleash my fire, fury & power on him. The likes of which this world has never seen before. Then he threatened Guam, which we own. And I warned him, he does something in Guam, it will be an event the likes of which nobody has seen before, what will happen in North Korea. I put the fear of God (me) in him. And he hasn't done something. He said, let's meet. And I sent Mike Pompeo, very tough guy. Big supporter of killing Chairman Kim, they call it regime change. I sent Mike to North Korea for Easter. He had a little talk with Chairman Kim. Mike gave him a good scare. A good scare. And now Chairman Kim has this meeting with President Moon, they ended the Korean War. It's been going on since 1945, we've had our troops there that whole time, and for a long time we had our nuclear in there. Now they're ending it because of me. It has everything to do with me. And for me to get the Nobel Prize, it's the least they could do, right? Because I've sacrificed so much.

@AmbJohnBolton [twitter.com], big supporter of going into Iraq, of the Iraq war. And that's too bad, because that was a mistake. But I needed a tough guy. I tend to be too nice. And when I had Sloppy Steve Bannon advising me, I wasn't getting anywhere. Because he wanted to be nice to everybody. And I'm a nice guy, sometimes I would go along with that. Big mistake. I fird him, he has nothing to do with me or my Presidency. And I found John. I'm not a fan of the mustache, I'm happy I found him. Very very tough guy. He's what I need. Because Iraq is over, it's almost over. But we're up against North Korea, Iran, the UN, and the European Union. We need to get VERY TOUGH with them. UN headquarters has 38 floors. And John says, let's chop off 10 floors from that one. Tough. He's an author, like me. Surrender is Not an Option, great book, he says the EU is nothing but "deadening Brussels bureaucracies." And maybe they're better off dead, right? Iran & North Korea, he says they're in cahoots. Colluding. On the nuclear, on the missiles. John says let's do the Libya model with North Korea. Where we make them pack up their nuclear program. We take it to Tennessee. Then the regime change. As I wrote in my journal. And he says let's cancel the very foolish Iran deal, the #Irannucleardeal [twitter.com]. He says it's America's Waterloo, "the diplomatic Waterloo." I agree. Because it's an Obama number and it's very unfair to America. Very one-sided. Obama didn't know how to make deals. Always compromise, compromise. We don't need a deal with Iran, my military can take care of them. I send in 2,000 planes, their nuclear is done. John says that military is the only way to handle them. He says regime change -- it means assassination, usually that's what it means -- is the way to go. Because they shamed our Country. They held our diplomats hostage. He says it's time to get even. And I always, always get even. Nobel Peace Prize!!!!

George Bush made a mistake. We can make mistakes

George W. Bush was a mistake, starting from letting him enter politics in the first place, his father should have known better.

Electing him in the first place I might forgive, but re-electing him after his first 4 years' performance was inexcusable.

C'mon, Joe - you know better than that. George wasn't a mistake when he entered politics. He was a mistake when his daddy entered his mama without wearing his little raincoat. He was a much bigger mistake, when his mama carried him full term. Mistakes like George are usually called "miscarriages". There were lots of mistakes. What else was Junior going to do? Sit at home, and suck the government teat, or go into politics? He's certainly not qualified to do anything else!

The Nobel Peace Prize lost any credibility it might had when it went to Henry Kissinger, one of the biggest proponents of war since the prize was established, in 1973. This was 5 years after he'd deliberately sabotaged negotiations trying to end the Vietnam War, 2 years after he had backed Pakistan trying to wipe out the Bangladeshis, 1 year after he'd organized the bombing of Cambodia into the stone age for basically no reason, and the same year he engineered the coup in Chile, in which the new military junta murdered tens of thousands of civilians. He didn't even do the thing he was getting the prize for for another 2 years. Some peace proponent, that one.
