President Donald Trump vetoed a bill designed to block his emergency declaration at the Southern Border on Friday, in a ceremony at the White House.
“Today, I am vetoing this resolution,” Trump said. “Congress has the freedom to pass this resolution and I have the duty to veto it. And I’m very proud to veto it.”

That's not always true. Many powers are not delegatable, and the power to declare war is specifically one of them.

I don't disagree with dude's analysis but unless SCOTUS also agrees, it doesn't matter what I think. And SCOTUS jumps on every possible chance to say "I know it says A but what it should say is B, so we're interpreting it to mean B."
