Well known Dutch social geographer and statistician
Maurice de Hond [maurice.nl] has been showing that the level of contagiousness of Corona is not nearly as high as people think, and that it's only the super-spreading events that cause the rapid rates of infection in certain places.
His
latest blogpost [maurice.nl] has lots of references, like the conclusions of the
Norwegian CDC [spectator.co.uk] and
German government Corona adviser Prof. Christian Dorsten [www.ndr.de].
All in all it looks like outdoor social distancing is useless (except at disrupting the economy), but indoors, and especially crowded indoors deserve attention.
