Don't complain about lack of options. You've got to pick a few when you do multiple choice. Those are the breaks.
Feel free to suggest poll ideas if you're feeling creative. I'd strongly suggest reading the past polls first.
This whole thing is wildly inaccurate. Rounding errors, ballot stuffers, dynamic IPs, firewalls. If you're using these numbers to do anything important, you're insane.

I would recommend revisiting any of the following: .
"Free Software, Free Society: Selected Essays
of Richard M. Stallman" (2002) Richard M Stallman. .
"Rebel Code: Linux and the Open Source Revolution"
(2001) Glyn Moody. .
"The Hacker Ethic and the Spirit of the Information Age"
(2001) Pekka Himanen. . It woud be refreshing to discuss the basics again and regain some focus in these times of astroturfing and entryism.

Looks good. I'd like to include 1 or 2 of those next time around. There's no problem with a little non-fiction once in a while.

In addition to Downbelow Station, take a look at the Foreigner Series. I really enjoyed these books.

I say we do either Downbelow Station then Revolt in 2100, or vice versa.
And book one of the "Foreigner" series, aptly named "Foreigner."
