  • Don't complain about lack of options. You've got to pick a few when you do multiple choice. Those are the breaks.
  • Feel free to suggest poll ideas if you're feeling creative. I'd strongly suggest reading the past polls first.
  • This whole thing is wildly inaccurate. Rounding errors, ballot stuffers, dynamic IPs, firewalls. If you're using these numbers to do anything important, you're insane.

Both the first and the second option exclude exactly 50 votes.

BTW, for extra nerd credibility you could have used [0, 50) for the first and (200, ∞) for the fifth option.

But for true nerd credibility you would have made all intervals half-open on the right hand side.

All this talk about "true nerd cred" but ignoring the simplest option guaranteed to be technically correct and cover all outcomes: just one response option labeled "100%".

Alternatively bypass the math circle jerk and go with smartassery by having any option be labeled "The most".

I'll be correct if you close the poll now.

But don't worry, I'm sure it will still be up a month from now.

The most popular option will receive zero votes.

Wish that had been a poll option. Could have had a math joke consisting of a single character, and they missed it.
