Distrowatch reports [distrowatch.com] on the release of antiX 16.1 (named for activist Berta Cáceres [wikipedia.org]). The antiX Linux distribution is based on Debian 8.7, but lacks systemd. For X11 users, it offers IceWM, fluxbox, jwm [joewing.net] and herbstluftwm [herbstluftwm.org]. It is, of course, also available without X.
