The St. Charles County Police Department has confirmed that Charles Edward Anderson Berry Sr., better known as legendary musician Chuck Berry has died. He was 90-years-old.

Officials responded to a medical emergency at a home on Buckner Road Saturday afternoon [March 18]. Inside the home, first responders found Berry unresponsive and immediately administered lifesaving techniques but Berry could not be revived.

Known as [one] of the Founding Fathers of Rock 'n' Roll and for hits that included "Johnny B. Goode", "Maybelline", "Roll Over Beethoven" and "Sweet Little Sixteen", singer-guitarist Chuck Berry has died.
