Grover Norquist, the anti-tax crusader who wants to make government so small it can be drowned in a bathtub and Ralph Nader, the consumer advocate and well-known Liberal appeared together on the dais at
a gathering in Washington DC [commondreams.org] organized by Nader.
The purpose was to find ways that otherwise-divergent interests can bring to fruition those ideas on which they agree.
Topics included corporate welfare, punishing banksters, military spending, and the minimum wage, again, bringing together such apparent opposites as Jim Hightower and Ron Unz.
