After the WannaCrypt malware disproportionately hit the United Kingdom's National Health Service on Fri 12 May 2017 [soylentnews.org], a succession of UK focused organizations have been targeted:

• From Sat 27 May 2017, British Airways incurred outage [dailymail.co.uk]. Frontline staff initially had no explanation when 726 cancelled flight stranded 75000 people and the cause has not been explained satisfactorily.
• On Tue 20 Jun 2017, Skype incurred outage [dailymail.co.uk]. Users in Europe worst affected. Crash blamed on unspecified software update.
• On Tue 20 Jun 2017 and Wed 21 Jun 2017, Tesco incurred outage [dailymail.co.uk]. Thousands of online orders cancelled and customers unable to use Tesco Bank app interface.
• On Sat 24 Jun 2017, multiple members of UK Parliament report outage [dailymail.co.uk].

Much of this may be related to unusually hot weather throughout the Northern hemisphere where it was 118°F (48°C) in Las Vegas on Tue 20 Jun 2017 [soylentnews.org]. Whereas, WannaCrypt has been linked to North Korea and hacking of Sony [dailymail.co.uk] but I understand that the link is tenuous and relies on minor byte sequence matches.
