WritScrib is a fledgling social network designed to let users tip on individual posts — calling it
online busking [indiegogo.com] — without needing to use a third party like Ko-Fi. The site's policies emphasize allowing any content that is legal within the US, with an exception only being made for what it defines as harassing content. WritScrib plans to use a primarily volunteer moderation base and to avoid automation in handling abuse reports, something which other social networks shy away from. The site has also been receptive to finding ways to display many forms of content that are usually reserved for specific niche sites and seems like a response to the recent ownership change of Tumblr.
