PsiQuantum has raised $215 million to help it develop a commercial quantum computer with 1 million qubits, or quantum bits, within “a handful of years.”--more powerful than machines being developed by Google, IBM, Honeywell, and a host of startups and university labs.
Quite the ambitious goal! Such a machine would enable truly groundbreaking computations, a far leap beyond the 'Noisy Intermediate-Scale Quantum' (NISQ) platforms currently available with ~100 qbits
