Dr. Navid Rahmani graduated Cum Laude from New York University and then received his doctoral degree from the Stony Brook School of Dental Medicine. Following graduation, Dr. Rahmani remained at Stony Brook for another three years and received certification in the specialty area of Periodontology. He has extensive training in all phases of modern periodontal therapy including periodontal plastic surgery, bone grafting, implantology and, of course, what many people refer to as “gum disease”. Based on his accomplishments, Dr. Rahmani was awarded the John Oppie McCall Award given annually by Stony Brook to someone demonstrating exemplary dedication and proficiency in the art and science of Periodontology.
