Tylenol doesn't help. I had avoided the oxycodone because a close friend ODed. Today specifically I wanted to work, but just now I gave up on that and took 5 mg of the oxy.

My prescription says I can take up to 10 but even at my pain's very worst I never had to take that muc

It will put me to sleep within the hour. That is, as in snoozing; I don't mean to say that it will euthanize me.

Good Times.

I'm feeling a little sedated but not really sleepy

At one time antipsychotic drugs were called Major Tranquilizers. But while some psychiatric drugs are sedating that's not their intended purpose. I take perphenazine for psychosis but feel nothing at all from it, but it does prevent paranoia and hallucinations. It's rare for me to hear voices but it's common for me to see things that aren't there.

I'm lying in the dark listening to The Rolling Stones. My musical aspirations are encouraged by that Mick Jagger still sings scales ever day.

That always scares me. When I can't hear them, I can't know what they're up to.

    MDC,
If you are feeling new pain then you should absolutely call your doctor. I know you don't want to, and you don't want to think that there may be a problem, but do not take the chance.

It sounds like you traded a kidney for air. Air is cheap. You deserve better. There are lots of things that could go in the void:

    a. helium balloon, to make you lighter.

    b. vibrator

    c. operating room sponge

    d. small liver transplant

    e. marbles, so you never lose them

    f. HMX/PETN explosive mix, to liven up your eventual cremation

    g. GPS tracker

    h. insulin pump

    i. bitcoin wallet

    j. anything illegal to own

    k. words, written in lead, to show up on an X-ray

Are you allowed aspirin, naproxen sodium, ibuprofen? If so, don't mix them, but any of them can be taken with acetaminophen for a complimenting effect.

But yes, check with the Dr.s to be sure you're not having infection.

    Are you checking your temp?

Some infections cause localized temp. rise but not systemic.

My mom has problems and the Dr.s told us that oxy..., tramadol, etc., aren't the best, that pure morphine (liquid, sublingual) or another one I forget is better- better pain control and less fog.

      - drugs.

They told me not to use any starting seven days before my surgery, but didn't mention when I can start using them again.

It's easy to tell when you've ODed on Aspirin, your ears start ringing really loud. When you OD on Tylenol, you find out when you die of liver failure.

I didn't know that (ear ringing) about aspirin.

Fully healthy people can have 3-4 grams / day Tylenol but I'd be careful and check with Dr.s about max. Bloodwork will tell liver function.

They didn't want you taking aspirin etc. due to anti-coagulation. Please check with Dr.s before you use it. Bleeding may still be a risk.

I'm doing pretty good when I can pick up the new ones before the old ones run out.

It's a PITA because I have to take two buses to get to my pharmacy then two to get home. There are no pharmacies any closer.

The pain is gone; if it doesn't come back I'll get some work done. I've been going back to NedSpace some days but won't today.

I'm working towards importing all of Soggy Jobs' HTML 5 into PostgreSQL with some Python scripts, then will reconstitute the entire site with scripts and templates.

There will be a complicated task in the future - presently I figure out my geographic names by looking them all up in wikipedia - fairfield is a city in California, but a county in Connecticut. Crawford Township Pennsylvania isn't anywhere near Crawford County Pennsylvania - my people are from the Township. While of course this is a solved computational problem, there may even be open source packages that do the work, so far it's easy to use Wikipedia manually than deal with what is surely some complex code.

They were out of stock on one of them. That means I have to go back

I think the pharmacy has an automated way to check whether refills are ready.

If I have pancake mix I will have that tonight but with eggs mixed in. That makes them thick and fluffy. If not I will have an omelette. I need to use my eggs up - I don't want those chickens to have laid in vain
