My own take is that Hilary is rather more like a Staph infection.

https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/politics/2018/11/23/fox-news-guest-apologizes-saying-hillary-clinton-like-herpes/2094979002/

Were she ever actually elected President, the entire planet would get to find out if she's the Flesh-Eating variety.

My own Staph infection a while back quite fortunately responded really well to antibiotics, but before I got diagnosed with it, my Staph was doing a solid job of eating my own flesh.

I voted for Bernie Sanders in the primary, then Jill Stein in the general.

I hope she isn't in the news a lot lately because they're planning to run her again: they do that and DT will get another term.

She is more like a bad case of head lice, spreading to everything she touches and immune to removal. She needs to just go.away.

Why people still listen to her....beyond me. I guess some people are just not able to learn from mistakes.

      Speaking Fees.

Even Chelsea Clinton is quite wealthy as a result of charging hundreds of thousands of dollars to give just one speech before an audience of wealthy people.

It happens that Ronald Reagan discouraged that development of High-Definition Television despite that Japan was actively using an analog form of HDTV. And why?

Perhaps enlightenment will follow were I to tell you that Ronnie's very first action after leaving office was to travel to Japan where he was paid two million Samoleons to deliver just one speech.

Me, I myself am doing pretty good when I get tipped five clams for singing on the street.

I hope they don't get the idea of running Chelsea, child of privilege and free money, to go for another chance of establishing a Clinton dynasty.

The idea has been around for a while, see Fringe s05e12 and some kid's shows [wikipedia.org].

Will it happen? She probably has to run for a couple of political offices first to test the waters, even if Trump didn't. We're safe... for the moment.

I'm afraid they might do that. People in general, and the parties in particular, are in love with the idea of a dynasty. As much as I liked the John F. Kennedy, I breathed a sigh of relief when John Junior Kennedy passed away. We had already had FAR too much of Ted Kennedy. Ted was unelectable for pres, but if John had taken an interest, he may well have been electable.

Maybe as a condition of taking office, the president elect should offer all of his nearest kin on an altar to the almighty dollar. No dyasties - none. Well, instead of the altar, we could just make close family ineligible to run for pres. That would have prevented Dubya, since his daddy had already slept in the president's bed.

I hope she isn't in the news a lot lately because they're planning to run her again

She's in the news these days because the last gasps of the current House committees want to subpoena her again. Clinton is an endless source of fodder for the right. I'm not sure who the right's boogeyman will be once Clinton fades away (if they ever let her).

They probably wont let her disappear, she riles up their base more than anything. Did you see Trump's interview with the Fox news anchor where he rudely interrupts to call the military guy "a Hillary fan"? Clinton is his magic distraction word, his supporters lose all capacity for rational though when they hear her name.

Trump was used the same way for the Clinton campaign. And a lot of this depends on how radioactive Trump makes himself by 2020. One can make oneself less attractive than Clinton.

You may be in a bubble of Trump-hate. The median American now approves of Trump.

If less than half of the voters hate him, he gets reelected. The intensity of hate does not matter. With 50.001% thinking "Trump is the better option" and 49.999% thinking "Drumpf is worse than Hitler!!!" we would reelect Trump. Well, that ignores: democrat fraud, the supreme court, electoral votes being uneven, unfaithful electors, the House of Representatives deciding to certify or not, and so on. So maybe more people could be haters, which would be kind of fun though sad. Trump is wonderful.

You should go to a Trump rally. I suggest showing up many hours ahead of time. Often, the venue only has room for a third of the people who show up.

Trump is among our 10 best presidents, still in the running for "best ever". Since 1900, only a couple are in the same ballpark as him: Teddy Roosevelt, Ronald Reagan. (runner-up are: Ford, Nixon, Eisenhower, Truman)

You happen to be in Canada, and so I can see why you might not be fond of Trump. That makes sense.

You need to find your own Trump. You need somebody to put Canada first.

Alternately, you can try to fix what you have:

Why? He hasn't been a disaster, but meeting low expectations doesn't strike me as a best president material.
