The images are sexy. But only a few made sense as Dune-like.

For example, there were a variety of weird alien shapes sticking out of sand. Only a couple would have credibly stood in for sandworms - even then one had long teeth/horns along its length - and similarly for empire gear like spice harvesters . The skeinsuits were ridiculously elaborate and in a few cases didn't actually cover important body parts (about 3/4 of the way through there was a woman's skeinsuit that didn't even cover a bikini bottom - these things are supposed to recycle all fluids including urine). There were a lot of fantasy skull motiffs - including an apparent skull carving that made up half a hill. If that last image was meant to be the Paul Muaddib [fandom.com] monument, it ignores that the monument would show a human face (the upper part of Muaddib's face).

Otherwise it's just interesting weird images in a desert.

Don't forget - so many useless crevices for sand to get stuck in. 😂

How much extra sand and dirt do you want to carry around while trekking in the desert?

Remember those generic newspaper articles titles in ancient SimCity?

        "Naysayers say: No!"

Your fellow AC replier naysayed this one right. Who wants to carry around 10 pounds of extra dirt just to look cool? It'd be worse for the sandworms who would be carrying half the desert with them in all their goofy crevices and maws.

Here are a couple of links to the script that never made it to the movie stage--

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jodorowsky%27s_Dune [wikipedia.org]
    https://www.duneinfo.com/unseen/jodorowsky [duneinfo.com]

At one time I read through the whole script online, with fantastic drawings and sketches included which showed how the sets were to be built. Maybe the whole screenplay book is still up somewhere? A quick search didn't turn it up.

Actually, the China today is perfectly everything what miserable Russia ever failed to become.

Now off with you, go back to trenches. They missed you there for next barrage.
Did you even noticed your Das Reich is still occupied by Yankees? 78 years after you lost the War...
