The name RandomFactor derives from two sources.
- It was applied at the end of physics problems when the result wasn't leading to the correct answer. After applying a Random Factor (also called a Blunder Factor) the result DID come out correct (and in only one step!)
- Bestowed on me by my bridge partners, referring to my bidding style.
