Howard wrote “that every person born within the limits of the United States, and subject to their jurisdiction, is by virtue of natural law and national law a citizen of the United States. This will not, of course, include persons born in the United States who are foreigners, aliens, who belong to the families of ambassadors or foreign ministers accredited to the government of the United States, but will include every other class of persons.” https://www.14thamendment.us/articles/anchor_babies_unconstitutionality.html

Is it really censorship if you are blocking the cunts, the dicks, the halfwits, and the obsessive/compulsive shits? Regular humans can mostly post here.

          Blocking anything is censorship.

That would be true if other people had an inherent right to write whatever they wish in somebody else's journal. They haven't. The journal belongs to its creator and (s)he can decide whatever rules (s)he wishes for that journal.

Others do not have the right to use any discussion to express their own points of views. They can open an account and print whatever they want (providing it is legal) in their own journal. They are therefore not being censored. It is no different from not being allowed to put graffiti or post political or other material on the walls of buildings belonging to somebody else. It might be acceptable, but it might not.

Open public forums are supposed to be content neutral, like a dumb pipe. The tools for filtering, like moderation for instance, should be given to each member of the audience for their own selves, not plastered on for everybody else.

But they do have such a right, janrinok! This is what you do no understand about free speech. Runaway can type up whatever stupidities he imagines, but free speech is not a right to not be rebutted, or mocked, or criticized. This is flat out more censorship. And abolishes the only reason to read a Runaway journal. Without the mocking off-topic comments, what is the point?

You have that right to do it in his journal ONLY if he decides to allow it. You do not have the right to enter his home to berate him. You do not have that right to sit in his car and criticise him if he chooses not to allow it. You do not have the right to enter a discussion on a specific different topic just so that you can express your views on completely different topic.

Free speech is a right given to you to prevent the government from stopping you expressing your views. He is not the government of the USA. The site is not the government of the USA. Neither he nor this site have to accept you as a contributor.
