Dunno if this applies to anyone but I doubt it. This update will break your menu structure because it unchecks a box in your permission list components, in this case custom permission lists for general login use. If you are about to deal with this compare your custom primary permission list to the delivered PeopleSoft user very carefully specifically in regards to menu, it might not show up in a compare report. Fixing that one tick could save you hours or days of work. If you think maybe I'll just use the delivered PeopleSoft user permission list for this because I'm pressed for time and I need to get the menu working so I can fix the system - its not a viable solution - it provides way too much security for a general user and someone could nuke the system on accident in the time it takes you to compare the permissions you were unable to access without doing so.

The encroachment of Christmas on Thanksgiving has gone on long enough and something must be done about it. Every year Christmas ornaments go up earlier, every year people make excuses about having Thanksgiving festivities because of Black Friday, but what is being done about it? Now I am hearing defeatism that its fine as long as its after Halloween, but I WILL NOT DIE ON THAT HILL. I declare that Thanksgiving is a sacred holiday that is far more important than Halloween and cannot just be glossed over. It is, in every way, a better holiday than Christmas and must be defended on its OWN MERITS.

What payment method do you prefer to use when you think its possible a dispute might arise? When buying products online I tend to use my paypal account, although after a recent dispute and how difficult it was to resolve I am looking for other options. I have used my credit card though Bank of America once for this purpose and it was simple, but it was a pretty straightforward situation.

In my most recent situation my wife had me purchase three pieces of clothing. Nothing with the company seemed out of the ordinary at first glance so I went ahead with the purchase using my paypal account. After doing this went and did some more research and found that they have a history of sending the wrong item or an item that did not match description. I responded to their notification of the sales completion a few hours later and said I wanted to cancel. They said they would withhold 15% as a fee and send the rest, at this point I figure its better to get back something rather than nothing and agreed. They ended up only crediting me 18%, because they claimed that I only wanted one item refunded even though they had no backup for this. By refunding anything, any dispute through paypal picks up that transaction ID and automatically closes any cases made about the subject. After spending a few hours getting to a person instead of an AI someone at Paypal said that Chinese companies tend to run their financial and operations sides from different business names and locations because they know there is no way to prove any correspondence with them is provable. It was changed to an "item not delivered" complaint that the Chinese company could not prove and it was resolved well. Unfortunately because of the method i was refunded for the full amount of the dispute and also what they refunded earlier, so I need to contact Paypal again to refund a portion of the refund back to the company.

While Paypal resolved it well, it was annoying how long it took. With the exception of me not doing my due diligence up front, for those rare events where you need it, what is the best method to use when it comes to working with the go-between finance company?

Combine this with a cheap 3/4in sheet of plywood, two sawhorses, chalk line, 8ft straight edge, mitre box, standard saw, and two clamps and you can replicate pretty much everything else for much cheaper. Or at least enough of them to make it worth it. Table saws are pretty much worthless unless you have space to have a sturdy accurate and large table to surround them with to ensure safe and straight cuts. Mitre saws are good but rarely are the angles and stuff set up correct from the factory. Craftsman for a while made a mitre saw they sold in the 300 dollar range with a non-floating lock system on the front end that wasn't calibrated right, so you could never cut at a perfect angle. The only way you can fuck up with a circular saw is if you fuck up, I would rather blame myself than be pissed an expensive tool let me down.
