Yes, they do prefer him. This is how power sharing works, just like a wrestling tag team. They don't want any actual liberals to take over. And they sure don't want any "third party" to get any attention in mass media. The DNC/GOP will walk away with 95% of the vote again. Even the Putin doesn't get those kinds of numbers.

McConnell has publicly stated he will support Trump no matter what. He is a traitor leading a bunch of traitors, and if factual evidence of crimes means nothing to them then why should Pelosi not delay? You are getting mad about the wrong thing and I simply can't understand the lack of outrage from conservatives after watching the Republicans embarass themselves repeatedly and publicly state they will not do their constitutionally mandated jobs.

They ignored addrsssing Trump's crimes and accused Democrats of running a witch hunt while calling the whole thing a TV show.

They got the TV show half right. They are the ones trying to turn these hearings into emotion filled TV nonsense. They are trying to sow the idea that it is all scripted bullshit. They are lying and manipulating their own base.

They are angry about Pelosi's delay (and you by being a team supporter) because they want to rush through their treadonous vote to not remove a proven criminal from the White House. That way they can spin more propaganda nonsense and keep their base (you) from coming to the obvious conclusion that Trump is a criminal and they are all corrupt.

As usual the anger is hypocritical. Republicans prevented Obama from appointing judges and have stopped a huge amount of house legislation from moving forward. They filibustered, they shut down the government, they HURT THE AMERICAN PUBLIC! And now they play the victim for the millionth time?

Someone needs to state this clearly for you.

Trump is a shitty character. He ain't exactly right in the head. But, that ain't impeachable. The liberal house has been hysterical ever since Hillary lost. Hysteria is permitted I guess, there's no law against it. But, hysteria isn't evidence of anything, either.

These "impeachment" processes being broadcast around the country have been complete and utter bullshit. An hysterical crowd invites sympathetic "witnesses" to badmouth Trump for them, everyone has an orgasm, and the hysterical crowd knows that they have moved one step closer to impeachment and conviction.

There is no strong evidence of impeachable offenses. There is a lot of evidence that the house is an echo chamber populated by hysterical old women.

Don't pin your hopes on the results of this impeachment farce.

Incompetence. Which of our past presidents would you consider competent? Start with Washington, and go through the list, please. If you actually look at each and every man who held the office, if you search for and find the talking points of his detractors, then check the facts surrounding those talking points, you may well be surprised.

During the past election, Hillary and company talked a lot about "presidential". Not many of our presidents WERE "presidential". That is, if you ever got past the myriad of people running interference, if you got past the dressed up public display facade that each of them projected, each of them had his character flaws.

As presidents go, Trump isn't so very bad. He's bad, but he still ranks a fair bit above Grant.

But, you go ahead and dig into the characters of past presidents, then you compare Trump to all of them. Even Washington and Lincoln. Even Eisenhower. Maybe one day, I'll make my own list of presidents, ranked in order of relative strengths and weaknesses. I insist that Trump is not the bottom of the barrel.

What pisses so many of you off so terribly, is that the first woman you offered to hold the office most definitely WOULD HAVE BEEN the bottom of the barrel.

I don't think that any of the D offerings this time around are as bad as Clinton, but you're not offering anything markedly better than Trump. And, THAT is what ensures another win for Trump. The only way he is leaving office before 2024 is through death or incapacitation. You guys aren't unseating him.

                  1. You need to learn what "proven" means. Hint: it does not mean accusations by people who did not witness an actual crime.
                  2. No, it is Democrats pandering to the rabid nutters (you, obviously) in their base. Nothing but hearsay and insinuation have been shown and the Senate will likely do one of two things when it hits the floor:
                    1. Make and pass a motion to dismiss on lack of evidence grounds the first day.
                    2. Use it to force the Democrats they've had no way to compel to testify under oath about unrelated things to now do so.

Now there is still the possibility they'll let it run throughout the campaign season. It's not harming Trump, he might have a use for a substanceless smoke screen, and there's zero chance of him being removed from office with a Republican Senate. No, it's really not harming him. His approval ratings are in fact higher than Obama's were at this point in his first term. They're also up from when Pelosi decided to play to the radicals and push impeachment regardless of the facts. Nobody who cares about the truth above politics thinks anything about it but that the Dems are throwing an unfounded hissy fit.
